bulletHappy Easter!

Unlike last year, Easter was a quiet affair spent at home with Mamma and Daddy. This year I had my own Easter 'Egg' - a chocolate cow called 'Myrtle Moo' from Marks and Spencers. As you can see the packaging defeated me a little, but believe me, it was worth it once Myrtle had been released!

Myrtle meet Giulia.

Giulia eat Myrtle!

I've been drawing lots of pictures at nursery and at home. Daddy has been scanning them in and putting them on my website. Apparently I have developed a naive Abstract Expressionistic style, reminiscent of Jackson Pollock. And there I was thinking I was just making funny marks on pieces of paper.

bulletThe Greatest Invention To Toddler-kind

I am, of course, talking about ball pits! There's always a ball pit at the soft play areas I frequent, and I have shown a real love for playing in a sea of brightly coloured balls. So... I now have my own ball pit, complete with hundreds of brightly coloured balls. I am now planning 'Ball Pit' parties as Daddy writes this.

Exhibit 1: Giulia in the ball pit at The Lookout near Bracknell. Note ecstatic expression.
Exhibit 2: Giulia in her own ball pit at home. It may not look it, but she is very, very happy.

I've also been developing new games in my ball pit. One of my favourites is 'Chuck the balls out at Daddy'. The rules are very simple - I throw the balls out of my pit while Daddy frantically attempts to get them all back in again.

The simple games are always the best, don't you think?
