bullet My Second Home

My nursery used to be Mamma and Daddy's work room. This was the first room they decorated after moving into their house in July 2002. The walls were papered with lining paper then painted a mint green colour. The ceilings and woodwork were painted white and laminate flooring was installed. Considering that Mamma and Daddy had never tried DIY before they didn't do too bad a job.

Once they realised that I was on my way, they wondered how they could turn this room into something more colourful and exciting that I would like. Then Mamma had a bright idea; if the walls were sufficiently green to be grass, my room could have a farmyard theme! Mamma remembered that Toys 'R' Us had a range of products called 'Patchwork Farm', so she bought some wall stickers and borders. Daddy then put them on the walls with Mamma's help.

After my cotbed arrived on 1st November, Mamma. Daddy and Nonna finished the preparation of my room. I have a changing station for my nappy needs with a mini-bath underneath. My cotbed has co-ordinated bedding covered with farmyard animals. And just in case I don't get the hint that Mamma and Daddy would like me to be a friend to all things cute, furry and edible, I will be watching psychedelic farm animals rotating above my head on my mobile while listening to 'Old McDonald had a farm'. My parents are certainly single minded!

Oi Winnie! That's mine!

For the first few weeks I will be sleeping in Mamma and Daddy's room in a Moses Basket (as modelled by Winnie the Pooh above). After this time my parents hope that I will be moving into my nursery. We'll see about that!

bulletTeam Giulia!

Lastly, my parents have managed to get a special pram / pushchair for me when we go out together. They have bought me a Peg Perigo Pramette in a Cherry Cola colour.
