Hello!
You should be able to hear some groovy music that should
be familiar to anyone roughly Daddy's age, assuming of course
that they had grown up in the UK. The music is called 'Leftbank2'
by the Noveltones. To people like my Daddy it is the music
to The Gallery from the 1970s and 1980s BBC television show
'Take Hart', presented by Tony
Hart. To the uninitiated, this music played while viewer
submitted pictures were slowly panned over. It was an incredibly
exciting moment for any young budding artist to see their
opus onscreen. For everyone else it was an excuse either
to grab a packet of crisps from the kitchen or gawp in disbelief
that Hortense (aged 6) thought that horses were a strange
purple colour and lived in a landscape of lollipops.
