bulletSpring Is Coming!

So far in my life it has been cold, wet and dreary outside. Daddy and Mamma have told me that soon the weather will improve because Spring will be here (boing!). Once this has happened we will be able to go and see wonderful things called flowers and meet real life versions of those creatures on my mobile and play gym. I really hope that sheep aren't really purple and green and cows aren't alarming shades of red and orange. And yellow ducks? Well that's just silly!

In Giulia World things are okay I suppose. I managed to roll over from my front to my back on 27 February (v. good) but then I caught a cold (v. bad). I'm babbling, smiling and laughing now (v.v. good) but I'm not at all interested in drinking milky from a bottle (oh dear). This makes going out with my parents very interesting.

bulletMy Friend Teddy

Mamma and Daddy have just introduced me to my new best friend. His name is Teddy, and he is a brown and white Anna Club plush teddy bear. He is about as tall as me and very cuddly. I spend many happy hours wrestling with him, sucking his nose and squeezing his arms and legs.

In the Red Corner, weighing 9lbs 6ozs we have Giulia 'The Bawler' Barton! And in the Blue Corner we have Teddy 'The Terror' Teddington and he's looking mean...

bulletSmiler!

I have been smiling for weeks now, but my parents had failed to get my grin on camera. Until now.

You wouldn't believe just how much effort it took to get these photographs!

Cappuccetto rosso, vieni, vieni qua
Se ti vede il lupo ti mangerà...
Io non ho paura perché devo andare
Dalla mia nonnina che mi aspetta già
Questa focaccia le devo portare
Perché poverina sta tanto male
Cappuccetto rosso vieni, vieni qua
Se ti vede il lupo ti mangerà*

Oh no! It's the wolf! Wait, that's Daddy...
* This is a song about Little Red Riding Hood that Nonna Carmen likes to sing to me. I hope there aren't too many wolves near where I live!

Mamma and Daddy have bought me some new toys! These included a octopus rattle with a squeaky fish on top, a musical tomato, a set of wind chimes for my play gym and a soft book about Dizzy The Donkey and his missing carrots. I like the rattle a lot, even if it is far more interesting to pick it up and then drop it again than actually shake it. That squeaky fish is fantastic though.

So Dizzy had the carrots all along? Wow! I didn't see that one coming!
