bulletCongratulations Mamma and Daddy

On 5 May 2005, Mamma and Daddy celebrated their fourth (Linen or Silk) wedding anniversary. Daddy bought Mamma a beautiful bunch of flowers and they had a moussaka for their evening meal. I was on my best behaviour too!

bulletRound Round Get Around, I Get Around, Yeah...

2 May 2005

I'm now crawling, albeit backward! Mamma and Daddy like to put my favourite toy - the electronic singing pop-up ball - near me so I can try to crawl towards it. Unfortunately I then find myself moving away from it or around it. This more than slightly frustrating.

10 May 2005

I'm getting very good at crawling backwards now. Going forwards is more problematic, but I am getting there. I also enjoy standing on all fours and rocking backwards and forwards. In my travels I've become very good friends with the Little Monster Under The Sofa, as you can see from the following photos...

Okay, let's turn on my reversing noise.

<Beep, beep, beep...>

What the? There's someone under here!
There's someone holding my leg!
Look! Can't you see?
Help meeeee!

Thanks Mamma!

Erm... What's that coming out from under the sofa...?

Woo yay! I've figured out how to crawl forwards, even if belly-flopping forwards is just as effective form of locomotion right now.

My parents will need to baby-proof the house!

bulletGiulia, Are You Ready For Your Close-up?

Mamma and Daddy took me to a Venture Photographic Studio in Twyford, Reading, on the 15th March - just before we went to Italy. We got the photos back on 30 April 2005, and we were very impressed with them. Mamma and Daddy were surprised (horrified?) at how expensive they were, but I look really, really beautiful. Perhaps I should become a model!

Mamma and Daddy's favourite photograph. This was taken not long after I started to enjoy lifting my head up and looking around.

My parents bought a framed 10" X 8" print of this picture, costing £125! That's enough to keep me in nappies for five months!

In this picture Mamma and Daddy are looking admiringly at me, their beloved daughter. Meanwhile, I decide that now would be the perfect moment to make a funny face. (Tee hee)

My parents had been sent a special voucher that paid for a framed 7" X 5" print of this picture, plus the photographic session itself.

bulletBouncy, Bouncy

Another day, another toy... When I was playing at Auntie Nicki's house, I tried her Alice's baby bouncer and I loved it. This contraption means I can stand up and watch the world go by. Apparently you can bounce around in it too, but I haven't worked out that bit yet. Mamma says that as soon as Alice is put in her bouncer, her little legs start pumping away like something out of Riverdance. Call that dancing? I'll show you some real dancing!

bulletOn Holiday At Centerparcs

Just for a change in scenery, Mamma and Daddy took me to the Longleat Forest Centerparcs resort between 20th and 23rd May. The idea was to go for long walks in the forest, go swimming in the indoor pool resort and have lovely things to eat in the restaurants. It didn't quite work out like that - it rained almost continuously over the entire weekend. Still, I had a good time playing in the toddler pool and floating in my lifesaver. I can't wait until I start my proper swimming lessons in June!

Do you like my swimsuit?
Look what I can do with my tongue!

bulletPhotos From May 2005

Here are some more pictures of me doing cute stuff.

Do you like my new headscarf? It was a present from my friend Letty and her mamma Louisa.
