My Parents Are Very, Very Old

On 6th September, Daddy was 36 years old. On 10th September Mamma hit the big 3-0.

They are now officially positively geriatric. As any fule kno, Daddy met Mamma when he saved her from an attack from a rabid pterodactyl. All this stuff about University and linguistics webpages is obviously a far-fetched fabrication designed to confuse and baffle people. Especially me.

Daddy bought Mamma some time at a beauty salon and a posh hairdo. It was a shame that he arranged the hair dressing appointment before the relaxation massage, meaning that Mamma's 'do was a bit oily when she got home.

Mamma has arranged a surprise visit to a far away place called Durham for us. More of this anon.

I'm sure they will thank me for sharing that with the world at large.

The Return Of Not Daddy (And Auntie Anne)

Uncle Stephen and Auntie Anne came over from Sweden this month. They arrived on the 19th and returned on the 26th.

You'll be pleased to hear that I have overcome my fear of Uncle Stephen. Auntie Anne is really lovely too.

My parents are relieved that I am starting to get on with my male relatives. So am I.

Bill Bryson Meets Samuel Pepys

Grown ups really are a breed apart. For example, Daddy likes to play with me then write about it afterwards on this bizarre thing called a blog.

The weirdest thing of all is that in his blog, my name is not 'Giulia' but 'Little Miss K'. Similarly he is 'Koinuchan' and Mamma is 'Mrs K'. Something to do with preserving our anonymity apparently.
