bulletBob The Builder Is At My House!

I might have mentioned that my parents had decided to convert the garage into a guest room. Yada yada yada blah blah blah. What is far more important is that Bob The Builder and his friend Ray seem to be camping out in my garage making lots of mess and noise.

Okay, he may not be called Bob. Barry is nearer the mark. But he has all the gear and they drink lots of tea, so they must be at least related to my hero.

bulletMy Parents Are Aliens

I am now convinced that my parents are not of this world. This is what they have bought me for the swimming pool:

Apparently this is a special swimsuit with built in buoyancy aids.

I look like an extra from Doctor Who.

If anyone dares to laugh at me...

bulletThe N Word

I've discovered a new word that upsets my parents - 'naughty'. Currently everything is 'naughty'; Mamma, Daddy, my books, my toys, my dinner, random objects that I know the name of...

My parents are really hoping that I will grow out of this soon.

STOP PRESS (28/08/06): My new word is 'hedgehog'. My parents have just made a collective sigh of relief.

bulletDown On The Farm

On Sunday 27th August we went to Finkley Down Farm near Andover. They had lots of slides, climbing frames and rocking toys.

Oh, some animals too. I really, really liked the sheep (BAAAA!!!), the goats (BEEEEHHH!), the pigs (OINK!), the chickens (CLUCK!), the ducks (QUACK!) and the donkey (EE-AWWW!). As you can tell I really got into the swing of things. It's great fun to run around telling the animals what noises they should be saying. Especially when they then look at you with a mixture of confusion and world-weariness. The highlight of the day was when Mamma and me fed the goats. That really tickled!

Right in my element; things that rock and slide.
I had read a book about a dog called Kipper who made sandcastles and thought I might have a go myself. Daddy was on hand to get in the way, as per usual.
Running a farm isn't all driving tractors and feeding the animals you know. No wait, it is!
